Alice Springs - Continued (Easter Sunday)
Started the day with plenty of excitement. The Easter Bunny had been and the boys were thrilled to receive a chocolate Bunny and a couple of board games (Battle Ship and Jnr. Monopoly).
After breakfast we headed out to Trephina Gorge (East Macdonnell Ranges). It was really beautiful. Did the walk around the rim and finished with a paddle in the water. The boys played while Roy and I relaxed and admired the scenery.
Later in the afternoon the boys went to the Reptile Centre and I took the opportunity to wonder through the Royal Flying Doctors (I totally understand that all those snakes and lizards are out there...but I don't need to see them...eek). Both Max and Archie held a Python, Blue Tongue Lizard and Bearded Dragon. I cringed just looking at the photos. Max thought this was one of the best things he has done. Archie was full of his usual enthusiasm for reptiles and couldn't wait to tell me all about it.
Off to the Anzac Dawn Service tomorrow....had better get to bed.
