After a fearful night wondering whether our cabana would blow away or flood, we took an early bus to Chichen Itza. Rob's improving Spanish ensured we changed buses successfully and got dropped off outside our hostel. This saved a 2km walk with heavy backpacks. Enjoyed lunch buffet and afternoon swim. Went to the sound and light show at Chichen Itza ruins in the evening. Rob forgot to get the English audio guide so have little knowledge of what was said, but the structures were pretty when lit up all the same, as was the clear starry sky, the shooting star and the glow bugs.
