Woke up in San cristobal after 11 hours on the bus. Time for one of those coffees San cristobal is renowned for. Sat in the sunshine in the zocalo, wandered through craft and food markets, and sat in a few churches. Stumbled upon a bit of a party in one of the smaller squares, with band playing funky mexican calypso (?) as per the photo. When do people work? There's always a party. That said, siesta time....

Amy was woken after a 2.5 hour sleep! Enough time left in the evening to sit in coffee shop drinking amazing hot chocolate, homemade chocolate and playing yatzee.
