SECOND HALF OF TAUPO

After all the excitment and rush after the skydive the next few days were slightly more chilled involving a few games of crazy golf, the hole in one challenge, a chilled day at a geo thermal spa (which was free and pretty awesome), some touch rugby and a few beers.

Weall decided to stay up on sunday night (NZ time) to watch england france. Slates and guy were being a bit boring and decided that they were going to sleep before the rugby then wake up to watch it at 4 30 in the morning whilst me and sam on the other hand thought it would be more fun to watch the rugby after a few beers as we usually would in london, so me and sam headed to element the backpackers bar for a few 2 for 1 pints then off round the corner to mullingans the irish bar for some murpheys (they didnt have guiness!!) So me and sam turned up in internet cafe in the hostel slightly worse for wear where we all watched england smash the frogs on some dodgy internet site for $40!! It was definately worth the watch! BUt we probably only saw 10mins of rugby as it didnt load and skipped the whole time!

On the monday we thought seeing as we had been in taupo for 6 days living by a lake the size of singapore it probably would be a good idea to rent a boat, so we went all out and rent two!! One little orange boat with a 30 on the back for wakeboarding/waterskiing and then a boat for chilling a bit of a tub with a 30 on the back also. Sam went first showing off his skills on a monoski managing to hold the rope with his foot! which was quite impressive. Then i went for a wakeboard but didnt manage to get up due to the lake of power on the boat! I did try for ages though! Then slates managed to get up and had a little go behing the boat with a few big faceplants! We then headed back and preceeded to make another batch of crunk juice before heading out. This crunk juice didnt turn out so well as we put dark rum in it! It turned an english guy we met into breaking out into a rash so it was shortly disposed of!!
