We woke up at 7am this morning (with a bit of a headache) as we had to get the bus from town at 8am. We had a bus of 16 people but only 4 of us were English and a lot of the others didn't speak very good English!! Our driver was called Jason, he was really nice (although very load for that early in the morning)
Our first stop on the way to Mission Beach was AJ Hacketts bungy site. Noone from our group did the bungy but a couple of people tdid this swing thing which is as high as the bungy!!! I looked up and someone was standing at the top of the bungy, the jumped and did sumasaults I then realized it was Jason!!!
I next stop was to have lunch at this really pretty lake, I was quite tempted to go in but it was still quite cold so decided against it!
After lunch we went to a crocodile farm, we walked round with the owner while he fed all the crocs, we then went and fed the Kangaroos. We we got back to the entrance one of the guys that worked there was holding a baby croc that he said we could hold (it's mouth was taped up) I held the croc and while I was doing so he put a huge snake around my neck which I was not too happy about!! (You will see when I upload my pics) I am quite pleased in a way because I have done it now and there is no way I would have done it if asked!!!
After the crocodile farm we arrived at Scotty's in Mission Beach. It is really nice, the rooms are basic but ensuite, there is a huge swimming pool and hammocks and sofas going round the verander to chill out on.
Me and Kat decide to go in the pool even though it was still quite cold. ( I didn't stay in long) We then met the other s and went to the grill and bar next door to have something to eat.
Had a really nice bangers and Mash (At last proper western food!!) We then went to the bar next door for a few drinks with everyone. There was a dj playing who was quite good, Jason decided to have a rave by himself on the dancefloor, it was hilarious.
