We were up & out of the hotel at about 8:15 am today ready for our trip to Alcatraz. We packed our suitcases and checked out of our hotel in las vegas. We have had a great week here and will definitely miss the water fountains! It felt like it took us ages to get out of vegas, we were also busy trying to find a petrol station and ended up doing about 3 u-turns. After our hotel move from the night before we soon settled into our room at the Hilton. It was even better because they even let us have the suite for 2 nights, so no single beds! We had a lazy morning and in the afternoon we decided to drive out to the zoo which was about 20 minutes away only to get there and it was closed so we had a drive back through the town instead.
