American road trip - start of our honeymoon!!

We arrived in LA after an eleven hour flight in which we were given free champagne because we told them we were on our honeymoon. We also heard the best story ever by one of the stewardesses about how she rescued a starving dog on one of her stay overs in Cuba. She managed to find it a home in a dog centre in Florida where she still visits it now. Ian was nearly in tears.

At the airport we picked up a Ford Mustang convertible or Pocahontas as Ian renamed her. We then set off to find our hotel in Anaheim. Sat nav told us 45 mins but as we found out in LA terms that meant 3 hours - driving through LA is very slow due to the sheer volume of traffic.

When we reached our hotel we got a free upgrade to a suite which is bigger than our house back home. We ordered room service and a beer for Ian then passed out from an exhausting 36 hour day.
