On our last full day in Las Vegas we wanted to visit a few more hotels. First of all we headed to the Paris hotel which we really liked. Today we decided to explore the south part of the strip so set off in the morning and walked to the MGM Grand first. They have a lion enclosure there but because the hotel is having a renovation they weren't there. Ian of course had to say to a member of staff "they're not dead are they?"! We actually managed to sleep in until around 9:30am which was the longest we had slept in all holiday. We started off in Lake Havasu, it was another early morning start. We went for a stroll around the lake in the 44 degree heat, it wasn't even past 12pm and it was this hot!
