Due to jet lag, we were up nice and early at 6am so we decided to go for a walk out. We picked up a Starbucks from our hotel and walked up past Disneyland stopping at a 7 11 to pick up sandwiches for lunch later. Ian also had a sausage biscuit from there for breakfast.

We filled up our cool bag and headed to downtown LA. After a long drive we finally reached Hollywood and went for a stroll. It was really busy and was full of people dressed as film stars and characters. Ian hated it so after we had seen the Hollywood sign we headed to the beach.

We found Santa Monica beach amazing, so we dipped our toes in the sea and tucked into our turkey and cheese sandwiches. We had a walk along Santa Monica pier and ended up buying a cowboy hat each. Ian even managed to do a bit of haggling. After this we headed back home for a cup of tea and well earned rest.
