Decisions have been made!!! :)

Today I jumped on a bus taking me half an hour out of the city to the Mount Coot-tha summit.. the panoramic views over the whole of Brisbane and beyond were absolutely stunning!
After an ice cream, a friend and I headed down to the Botanic Gardens. Not usually my sort of thing but I was quietly impressed with the Japanese gardens and tropical forrest.. aswell as the big Golden Orb spiders and lizards scattered around here and there.
After that we visited the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium were we watched a show on the cosmic skydome in reclined seats which was pretty cool and interesting.
Whilst at the planetarium I received a phone call offering me 2 months harvest work in a place called Stanthorpe.. a 3 hour bus journey south-west of Brisbane. Work starts on Sunday so after a bit of thought I decided to accept the offer as it kind of fits in with what I was planning to do. I headed back into Brisbane to book my coach which departs at 9.30am on Saturday morning. With transportation all sorted I decided to treat myself to another Nando's for tea.. my second in two days!!
So... job sorted.. now it was time to book the fun stuff! THE 2011 FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX IN MELBOURNE!!!!!!! :)
Bought my ticket for Sunday 27th March in the Webber Grandstand on the main straight opposite the pit lane.. so happy!! Booked my return flights from Brisbane and three nights accommodation slap bang in the middle of the city. Hopefully my new employer won't mind me having a few days off from the apple orchard :)
Will miss Brisbane as I quite like it here and there are a few other things I would have liked to have done before I left but I will be back at some point. I'm a bit gutted I'm going to miss the Future Music Festival next Saturday aswell, but I'm looking forward to getting stuck into doing some hard graft. Stanthorpe is a countryside town with plenty of farms.. the total opposite of where i like to be but I'm open to change and trying something new.

Next time you eat an apple, think of me :) and you never know.. I may have picked it!
