Arrived in Brisbane at 11am Tuesday morning and checked in at the Base Embassy hostel. Bumped into some friends I had met earlier during the Ozintro week and decided to book ourselves in for the XXXX Brewery tour that afternoon. The tour wasn't overly interesting but the four free tubs of beer at the end were!
Went for some food and a beer on the way back to the hostel and then got ready to go out to a backpacker bar at night.
Headed to Down Under bar where girls got free drinks from 9-10pm, and so did the boys....... IF.. they wore one of the granny dresses provided on arrival. It would have been cheeky not to!! Haha. I'm sure there will be evidence of this posted on my Facebook page sooner or later :)
Was another good night!

Took a bus out of the city to the Westfield shopping mall on Wednesday where I shocked myself by not buying anything, although the majority of the shops wern't up to scratch anyway.
Went to see a film called Unknown at the cinema in the evening which I really enjoyed.

Today has been all about considering my next move.. whether to stay in Brisbane for longer (with the Future Music Festival coming to town on March 5th) or to go find some harvest work elsewhere.
I have been offered some work up near Cairns in a place called Mareeba on an Avocado farm which I am considering but it is a long way to go from where I am at the moment.
I have other plans in mind.. The Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne at the end of March. So I'm trying to fit the most ideally situated harvest work around this.. whilst working out the feasibility of going to the Grand Prix.
Hmmm.. decisions decisions!!
