Today started off with some kind of incident across the road where someone was carted off in an ambulance!
On a lighter note, we picked up our car and headed south to Hat'n'Boots and paid out respects to Jimi Hendrix before heading north to Whidbey Island.
Nick being a bit of a twitcher spotted a Bald Eagle sitting in a tree and even though the rain has caught up with us again it didn't stop us being typical tourists and having a "shorts and tshirt" walk in the drizzle.
Arriving at Cozy Harbour Cottage, our retreat for the night, we are enjoying peaceful surroundings, home cooked risotto and a small glass of red.
Nick is enjoying his new favourite magazine "Wallpaper" and the darling child is spoiling the peace from the jacuzzi tub but it's better than 10 chinese children running riot in a hotel!
