So today we head to Collinsville with a few more wring turns along the way and another kind soul to follow to our hotel! We've seen some great Route 66 sites today including Tall Paul, roadside cafes and some wonderful birds of prey but by far the best attraction was Henry's Rabbit Ranch. Route 66 - where the fun begins... After collecting the car we headed off in the wrong direction (!) - it wasn't the only time today - Imogen has been promoted to navigator. With our "roadtrip" music playing, Joliet was our first stop and we spent a few bucks in the Route 66 Welcome Centre.
