We've arrived Arizona and wow has the scenery changed. We spent the day in the Petrified Forest National Park which had stunning views. The scenery changed from one mile to the next but it was HOT! Had a picnic for lunch before setting off to Holbrook and our retreat for the night - a wigwam, yes, a wigwam! Imogen was really excited as we hadn't told her. She now wants to sleep in a wigwam every night!
We ate out at Joe & Aggie's, an historic Route 66 restaurant. The guy in there was extremely nice and gave us lots of tips (one being "how to stay safe in flash floods')
We enjoyed another glass of the red stuff outside our wigwam before bed and probably had the best night's sleep we've had for a while.
Today we head to the Grand Canyon so there maybe no updates for a couple of days.
