Was picked up yesterday morning from my hostel at 7.30 am for my Cape Tribulation tour. We drove, firstly to Mosman Gorge, which was beautiful. We all had a dip in the water there too which was cold but refreshing. Afterwards we went to Daintree Wildlife Centre where we had breakfast and saw some crocs ahhhh. Alex, the tour guide, crazy but really nice, took us to the highest point in Cape Tribulation called Alexandra point. The view from here was amazing. We could even see the island where Steve Irwin was killed by a Stingray :-(! In the afternoon we were dropped off at our accomodation (Pk's) and, after checking in, spent the afternoon chilling out. Will and I, a guy I met on the tour, took an hour walk along the beach which was lovely! The water was so warm. Last night I had a few drinks in the bar with Aden, Irish guy, and Sarah, from Jersey, who were staying in my dorm. After a few drinks and putting the worlds to rights before 11pm, we all got an early night.
I woke up about 8am and just about to have breakfast before heading to the beach for a sunbathe. We are getting picked up at 2pm and going on a boat tour down the Daintree River to see if we can spot any crocs yay! Hopefully I will get a snap of a really big wild croc. Will let you know.
Lots of Love xx
