Finn and the ditch drama: On our second day at Big Mama's establishment we met 5 guys who were holidaying/travelling in the area - D-dogg (aka Daddy), Finn, Bachelor, Will and 'aggressive when he has had a few' Andy. After an introductory game of Uno we decided that dinner and drinking games were a far better way of getting to know each other and headed out onto the dark (another power cut) streets. I will fast forward the next few hours to the walk home… Having returned to Big Mama's and seeing that we had been locked out by a thin piece of rope (in our drunken stupor this was our Everest) we decided that to go around would be the best route in… Finn took the lead and whether due to the darkness, the bottle of port at dinner or the simply awful display of health and safety, Finn fell down a 6 foot manhole. To start with we all found the situation hilarious until we realised Finn was not in a good way and it wasn't until we dragged him out the pit of death that we saw the huge amounts of blood. Finn had a gash down his leg (to the bone) and scrapes down his side. While us girls ran for our medical kits to clean what we could, the boys woke up Big Mama and got a taxi to the hospital. Finny came back in the early hours of the morning with his leg in bandage after 10 stiches and a lot of injections - picture evidence of the hospital visit was captured in true graphic style by Ed and Will. A sobering affair to say the least!
