It's Australia Day. We got up late as at 5.30am it was persisting it down so Spencer also went back to bed. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. I am combining these days as we didn't do much other than mooching around. It poured with rain most of Thursday. Today we decided to look at the City. Sallie said it was best to go most of the way by car and finish the journey by train. Going all the way by train wasn't an option as Sallie's nearest Station is three quarters of an hour away & the train stops at every station & so takes considerably longer. Today is Sallie's actual birthday. Her Daughter Julie & partner, Dale who are on holiday from Perth joined us and we went to Australia Zoo. After breakfast at the motel (and the kind donation of some pancakes from Nicki &Neal) we drove up to Logan for a double birthday celebration and barbecue at Scott & Jenny's.
