Hello everyone,

We are now in Wanaka. The drive up was good as always. Upon our arrival we came across a photo expo on the side of the road. It was around 150 photos all 4ft in size and taken from the air. It was really, really good. Also had loads of facts and figures about our planet and what we can do to try and help in some way. It took well over an hour to go through all of them.

We went to Puzzling World which was very funny. One section had 4 rooms. The first being a hologram room. The second was a gravity room where you feel like you can lean over further (look at photos to see what we mean), you can see water traveling up and on a pool table, the balls travel up. Very weird room but very cool. The third room was our favorite, called the Face room. Again look at the photo of this one to see all the faces. These faces are all around you and not only do they look very 3D, they also follow you around the room as you move. It's actually a simple concept but works very well. The forth room was an Illusion room where you seem to grow in size. Look at the photo of Darren that on one side of the room appears small but when he walks to the other side he appears a lot taller, very strange again! The other section of this strange setup was a huge maze that took us 30 minutes to get to the centre while making sure you visit each coloured corner first then 45 minutes (stop laughing) to get out!

That's about it for here. It's a nice little town and we recommend it. Tomorrow we are going back to Mount Cook. The weather this time is suppose to be very clear and sunny so hopefully we'll get some great pictures the second time around.
