Hello Everybody,

We are now in Wellington, the Capital and the sun is really shining. We got here midday day so we had a walk around the city. It's very nice here with some great looking buildings, some very old and enjoyed taking a few snaps. We saw a rowing boat race which was funny and did a little window shopping. We went to the main Information Centre which was packed full with stuff and has just got us even more excited about the South Island. We are staying in a hostel tonight to keep it cheap as it's a little expensive here. Again that standard of hostels here compared to Asia is amazing and would highly recommend the YHA's here. Very clean and friendly and we were lucky to get a room with a front view looking over Wellington.

Tomorrow morning we catch the ferry over to the South Island which takes 3 hours. Speak to you all soon.
