Hello peoples,

Well we have been driving for a few hours and have hit Hamilton. So it looks like a good place to stop and get some rest. The drive down was good and the scenery is looking very good. We just cant wait to hit the South Island now as we know its supposed to be the better one for scenery. This is our first experience of what NZ's motels are like and oh my god, it's like a little bungalow with loads of space. Everything is so modern and clean and right up with western standards. It has a lovely soft bed, deep carpets, a full kitchen and nice big shower room, all private. This is a massive difference from anywhere in Asia. We're only here to get some kip and will update again soon.
