Hello Everyone,

Well after a 10 hour flight we have hit New Zealand :o) And landed in Auckland, the North Island. This is the main country we have been waiting for. The flight was very good as always with Singapore Airlines. The first thing we noticed was that the weather was just like a sunny day back home, finally no humidity..... Thank god!

The journals for all of New Zealand will be short as this is now a touring/driving holiday and will only be spending one or two days at a time in places. We have to put everywhere we've been though, even if it was just a stop over for one night, so that the map will follow us. Hope that makes sense.

We we're going to fly down to Christchurch which is in the South Island but the prices were far too high and it worked out to be a lot cheaper to hire a car for 3 days and drive down ourselves, so we did. Once we got the car, a little brand new Japanese thing, we started our trip down south. Not sure where we'll stop yet but we're so excited. Speak to you soon from the next stop!
