We arrived in Florence in the late afternoon and checked into our hostel which happened to be an ex monastery. Once we'd sorted ourselves out we caught the bus into the centre, but ended up a bit further out as we got off at the wrong stop! We arrived in Pisa about 3 o'clock to check into our hostel and then go out into the town. The centre of Pisa had lots of shops and cafes to go to on both sides of the river. After a long day of train journeys we eventually arrived in Anzio about 6pm and checked in to the B&B. We headed straight out for a walk around the town and to get some dinner. Anzio is a harbour town so the majority of restaurants specialised in fish which was great as we were starting to get a bit fed up of the traditional Italian places.
