Prague...
We caught the tram into the city centre and walked around in the aim to find The Old Town Square. The general atmosphere in Prague was really good and the buildings were beautiful, especially in the sun. Eventually we came across the square which still had an Easter market on. We then headed towards the river and sat in the sun, making the most of the lovely surroundings. After walking along the river and stopping at the Charles Bridge, we came across Wenceslas Square and got tempted to visit the clothes shops (also for a bit of warmth as it had turned quite colder as the sun was setting). We enjoyed our dinner in the Old Town Square then caught the tram back to our hostel.
Our last day in Prague we were up reasonably early and had breakfast in the onsite restaurant (only €3.50). We caught the tram to the other side of the river this time, as we planned to walk up Petrin Hill. After a lot of walking we eventually made it to the top, stopping for a few photos on the way of course. It was a really hot, sunny day so we rested our legs in the park on the hill before heading back down for some lunch.
Next we visited Prague Castle which was also quite hard work to reach (another steep hill!) but we did come across a park with peacocks in, which was a nice surprise. The buildings on the castle complex were amazing and so huge, especially the cathedral. We stopped for a while to take in the views before making our way back to the other side of the river, over the busy Charles Bridge. After dinner we went to one of the more traditional Czech pubs which was busy and filled with a mixture of locals and tourists. Trying to get back to the tram stop proved quite difficult, Prague streets are quite confusing - we did walk round in a few circles before we found it!
Up early to catch the train to Berlin, should take about 4hrs 45mins.
