We stopped for lunch at Pine Creek (historic railway town) on our way back to Katherine, it was a tidy and inviting place. O'Keefe House was the last site we wanted to visit in Katherine before we started heading west to WA. Again we enjoyed a dip in the springs every afternoon to cool down.

Katherine was an enjoyable week. The park had the springs out the back gate which we relaxed in almost every day. We were able to ride our bikes into town for coffee and shopping. We drove out to have a look at RAAF Tindal as well as taking the guided tour of Cutta Cutta Caves. Of course we did the Nitmiluk gorge tour with a very informative and funny guide.
