After Helen left we took a snorkelling trip to the Similan Islands. The journey was by speedboat & it was a very bumpy ride! It felt like you were hitting rocks as you crashed down on the waves. Definately think I am getting over my travel sickness now tho!

We stopped off at various islands to go snorkelling, there are 9 islands in total. The reefs were amazing. Loads of coral & brightly coloured fish. Even when we were on the beach at our camp site, there were hundreds of fish there. We saw a sea snake. We had bought an underwater camera & I dived down to take a picture of it, I didn't realise it was poisonous at the time! We did miss out on seeing a sea turtle tho, apparently they were feeding it from the boat when we were off snorkelling!

The beaches there were so perfect, white sands & crystal clear sea. We wished we could have stayed longer. The only bad bit was that we stayed in a tent & it stormed all night, our towels & swimming stuff was soaked as we had left it out to dry! We almost got the chance top go diving here (this is where they have whale sharks) but the diving boat didn't come back the next day to the island we were on so we went snorkelling again instead
