We arrived at Koh Samui in the late afternoon/evening & again struggled to find a room. Eventually we found one that was a bit shabby but only 300b (5 pounds) a night between the 3 of us. We've pretty much shared rooms, even beds for Helens whole stay. I think we stayed in separate rooms twice! We went to the sea that evening to cool off but the waves were humongous, I almost drowned & the strength of the waves almost pulled off all of our swimming suits! We thought it would perhaps calm down during the day. We were wrong! It also rained most of the time so we decided to get a boat & bus to Phuket in search of sun for Helens last few days.
