We took the 7.30am train from Kanchanaburi to Bangkok to try & meet Helen early in the morning. The train was so slow & we eventually got checked into our hotel around midday. We met Helen & went for some food along the river front. We then took the ferry (saw another dead dog floating in the water) & subway to Bangkoks biggest market. It was huge, I think Charlie got a bit bored! They had some gorgeous puppies for sale, I think they were taken away from their mums way too young. They were really cheap, it was really hard not to buy one, especially a huskie puppy!

On the way back we asked a tuk-tuk driver to take us to the Grand Palace & he dropped us some place & we went & had a look round. It wasn't until we almost left that we got told we were at the Marble Palace, not the Grand Palace! The Grand Palace is the number one thing to see in Bangkok, we didn't think it was all that! We took a flight the next day so we had to miss out on that one!
