We stopped off in Christchurch to break up the driving & to go into STA Travel to sort out our flights. We had a look around the town centre and in the afternoon we went to teh Antartic Centre. It's the place where people from all over the world go to travel on to Antartica. They had a antartic experience where you go into a room that has wind speeds of 30mph & -18 degree temperatures. It was VERY cold!! They also had blue penguins, which are tiny and really cute!
