We landed in Christchurch and the pilot came on the tanoy & said that it was 2pm so I promptly changed my watch. Two minutes later the Steward said it was 1pm so I changed my watch again. We checked in for our connecting flight to Queenstown & the guy said that the plane was an hour late & that we didn't even need to get to the gate until 3.30 so we went & sat in the cafe for a while. At 3pm we decided to go to the gate & a woman came running past us & asked if we were flying to Queenstown & we said yes. She told us to run as the whole plane was waiting for us to depart & that thwy had been calling us for half an hour on the tanoy. Conveniently the tanoy didn't work in the cafe that we were in! So we had to walk on the plane past all these people making comment & giving us the stink eye!
