The first part of our road trip in our camper (converted people carrier which barely fitted us both in the back!) took us to Milford Sound. It was quite eerie as it was a wet morning. There were loads of waterfalls and a giant lake with low hanging clouds, to get the real experience you need to do a boat trip around the fijords but we had alot of road to travel that day so just had a drive around. You can see the huge glaciers at the tops of the mountains, I didn't even know there were glaciers in New Zealand!
