All well here. We're all a bit tired from moving every few days but its so hard to slow down when there is so much wonderful stuff to see!!! A good problem to have!

We are VERY keen to head to Mt Etna & see some action. Can't believe our luck ( well I hope its luck!) that is has erupted whilst we are in Sicily. We had an amazing day yesterday exploring the beautiful cliff-top town of Erice. It was full of winding cobbled streets & charm. The castle & temple of Venus ...goddess of love ...was perched on the very edge of the cliffs with spectacular views. Lots of saucy history about the ancient prostitution that went on till its collapse coinciding supposedly at the birth of christ.

We took a cable car ride which the kids loved and they also got a free ride on a decorated horse & cart.

Today we marvelled at the valley of the temples. 5 ancient temples in Agrigento. Weather perfect, sunny 25. Our hotel owner has kids the same age as Z and Z with bikes with training wheels & scooters. Has been fab for our little ones. I can't believe that Zoe, with no practice, got on the bike & just took off. She has also spent ages scootering with Zac doing his best to keep up. How have they grown up so fast?? They went in the freezing pool today & Zac's bordies that were down to his shins in Costa Rica are now above his knees!
