Wonderful day...medieval festival here so Sat night we went to dinner & watched flag bearers in medieval dress throw their coloured flags high into the air & catch them & march about. A very late night for the kids...10pm. It was repeated last night with 1030pm with the d'Uva family as Montevarchi's town & piazza was also transformed into medieval times with trumpets, more flags, horses and a fair with kids rides. All had a ball. We had a sumptuous lunch & dinner with the family. Everyone brought a course. Mario, Teresa, Stefania & co, Lissandros family, Andrea all there. Pefect 30° day.
Kids had their first week back at Anja's kindy and are loving it. Zac seems to be dropping his afternoon sleep... boo hoo! Not much more to report.... studying , studying, studying! Managing to buy some absolute bargain clothes as I dash through the markets on the way to school for only 1 or 2 euro-2nd hand but all seem new. You can't try things on as no change rooms/mirrors but having been taking a risk (as only a few dollars) and so far have been lucky with sizes etc. Hmmm cost to get it home might be another issue though!
For Father's Day Adam got balloons, pictures & I've ordered him a Tim Minchin cd which he is over the moon about. His eye is a little better but not completely. All our mossie bites are now turning into wounds from scratching too much, especially poor Zac.
Must, must study now! So much to learn...so little time!
