So, we've been heading north, because our next tour, the Northwest Tour begins in Calgary, AB Canada. Another country to tick off our list! We stayed in Missoula, Montana last night and planned to visit Glacier National Park, which was on our way to Calgary. We were hoping that we might see bears and moose at Glacier seeing as though we missed out on seeing them at Yellowstone. Unfortunately when we arrived at West Glacier we were advised that the pass through the center of the Park was closed due to a blizzard early this morning. Doh! How's that for bad luck?! So that meant we'd have to go right around the edge of the Park instead of cutting through the middle.
Well, it wasn't all bad, because around on the other side close to the east entrance to the park we actually got a chance to drive through a bit of a snow storm (we'll call it a storm). As we drove up one of the mountains, the cars coming down towards us had what looked like snow on the edge of their windscreens. Sure enough, about 30 seconds later we were in the middle of it! We had to get Rowdy Roo and Hank the Kiwi out for photos, because this was the first time they had seen snow. They loved it too!
