The border crossing from USA into Canada last night went fairly well. Firstly we were asked what our purpose for visiting was, we explained and once again declared our giveaway pens and then our passports were checked and it was verified that we had no criminal convictions, so then we were on our way. Our car didn't even get searched thankfully.
Anyway, we are into our second tour now and Chinook Winds Academy in Calgary was our first Canadian school visit. Before I forget here's a shout out to Jared Kelloway from his mum who teaches at Chinook Winds. We also met Jared's younger brother.
The other colleges had different representatives for this tour, so we were able to make some new friends. The last tour was all guys, and this tour is almost all female for whatever reason, but we're not complaining. We met Kristy Grovet from CUC - she's like the expert of the north, Dianne Gebhard from La Sierra University, Melissa MacPhee from Walla Walla University, and then the only other guy there was Kevin Erickson from Union College, which we had met earlier with Buell.
