Just arrived at my next home away from home, hosted again by Durita and Frodji. It's a wonderful apartment fully outfitted with all the comforts of home.
I'm stretched out for a few minutes enjoying the atmosphere, then I think I'll drive a couple miles to a hiking spot. Still low clouds so it may be more of a stroll.
My phone didn't data roam here and Verizon wasn't any help. The Faroes are a test area for a new wireless standard that is better than 4g, so maybe Verizon isn't keeping up. The Norse Gods, and my hosts, continue to look out for me. They found a SIM card for me with 2g data for 100kr, or about $15. I'm connected again!
