After a short rest to appreciate where I am, and my good fortune, I decided to fire up the Norse steed and drive to a nearby village called Fuglafjørður. It was about a 20 minute drive at the posted speed of 60km.
The notes I read said to drive above the football pitch and the start walking on the path to the left. Reading and imagination can be two quite different realities. I got it figured out by following my rather large French nose...and with the help of my friends the cairns. They don't fool around with cairns here! You can see the from 500 meters...well if there is no fog!
