This is what I came to the Faroe Islands to see, Mulafossur. The waterfall sits at the edge of the village of Gásadalur. I stayed here, trembling on the steps to hell, taking pictures, listening to the waterfalls and surf, watching the cliff birds and thoroughly enjoying a wonderful sunny day in the Faroes. Today I'm on a quest to find the iconic photo spot in the Faroes. The one that captures all the elements of life on the islands. Steep and luscious green mountains that jump out of the sea, of course the sea, a small village, birds, remoteness....what else....maybe a waterfall. For some, the trek to this location can be a challenge. I'm midway on this set of stairs with a 6/8 pitch. That's a six inch tread with an eight inch rise...over 45 degrees! Yowza!! Major...

This is a view of the tallest mountain in the Faroes, the one I climbed yesterday. I almost wanted to hike up it again to get a better view. Nawwww, been there done that. Anyway, the low clouds started to roll in.

My quest is taking me through yet another single lane tunnel. This one is a step up in space and quality from the other day. I got through it only having to pull out once.
