Today was our last day in Chiang Mai and as we had done the trek in the past two days we fancied doing something a bit more chilled, so we decided to go to the 'temple on the hill' called 'Doi Suthep'. It was stunning and so high up, if the sky had been clearer you could have seen the whole of Chiang Mai! In the evening we also realised that we hadn't been to see any Thai boxing yet so we joined about another 10 people in our hostel to go and see the local fight ...

Today we arrived in a place called Pai! The hostel is sooo good- definitely the best one we've stayed in so far! This place is so chilled too which is nice after the business of Chiang Mai and before the mayhem of Bangkok! So far we only have three nights here but we will definitely be booking some more by the looks of things as its only 3 quid a night and that includes breakfast! Today we went to tiger kingdom to cuddle some tigers!! It was absolutely amazing to be so near them let alone touch them!! The cubs were the most adorable things ever- some of them were very sleepy but the others were extremely playful so we had fun with them! The big ones were very sleepy too but we were pretty happy about this- you don't really want to be around a very agitated fully grown tiger! Today we also booked onto our jungle trek with some other people ...

On Saturday and Sunday we did our elephant ride and trek! It was amazing, the elephants were huge and so calm and peaceful to be around, it was a shame that we didn't get to spend longer with them as we only rode them for an hour! After that we did a trek- I know we say that a lot back home like 'I can't be bothered to go to tescos it's such a trek'...we will never say that again now we know what a REAL trek is like- it was the most physically challenging thing b...

Today we decided to have a really chilled day- the owner of the hostel organised a trip for all of us to go to this beautiful lake which most of us went to! It was really great to get to know everyone and spending the afternoon chilling on a rubber ring in the middle of nowhere in this lake was pretty cool! The ride there was too- about 12 of us crammed into this pick up truck (some people stood on the back) just singing along to outkast and one direction! Think ...
