Well what a welcome I had last night, it made all that travelling back worth while.
Back in my same room number 10, still as hot. Ugh
When I got up this morning took a bike to be mended and bought a lock for it, so I am mobile again.
Went in today took two classes but they have not been having 3 of the classes as not enough volunteers I guess. So need to find sone sort of structure .
I love seeing the kids but teaching isn't my favourite job. I have finally nearly got all there names remembered just some of the boys need to brush up on.
Took myself off to the local for noodles and iced coffee, not the same without the group though.
They have extended there cooking area I reckon all us volunteers spent so much they are expanding. Although most of them here at the moment go of to Little Poe
Since I was here they have knocked some buildings down, finished building two houses they had just started in October people have moved in.
Finished the Skate Park that is always packed with school kids it also has it's own cafe area.
Tonight I am in my room as quiet exhausted and have my pain back which is annoying as this morning I was 100% better. Hopeful it will pass.
At the Orphanage a volunteer has raised monies to get the kitchen revamped which is great news as really needed doing.
So they are cooking and eating outside at the moment.
Have you ever seen so much rice being cooked ???? Picture at the top shows cooking for about 50 outside.
Awkward for them but they cope.
Got to say the toilets are in quiet good condition still, so impressed with that.
In sure they had a blitz just before I arrived.
