We where very excited this morning, not
sure if it was for the shopping or the fact that we were treating ourselves to air conditioning for the night .
The journey took about 2.5 hours and was very bumpy, stupidly we grabbed the back seats thinking we where lucky, we found out why nobody else wanted them.
Firstly we went to the supermarket, we were like kids in a candy shop.
I spent the most I've spent for days. Gold blend coffee, coffee mate (not had milk since been here) melon, butter, crisps and some chocolate.
Can you believe Jess bought 200 cigs for 3 dollars, you can still smoke anywhere here.
We then checked in to the Mekong palace, amazing cold room.
Trip to the Russian Market for clothes as they cater for westerners, still small sizes but we hunted and managed to get some clothes that hopefully will be cooler.
Had a noodle and rice supper a walk along the promenade and at this precise time laying on the bed drinking vodka & coke in a beautifully chilled room. We decided we didn't want to stay out and miss the chill.

Tommorow we have booked a manicure, pedicure plus back neck and shoulder massage. We are girls out on the town.
Get this at 3.00 o'clock we have a air conditioned taxi picking us up to take us back to Takeo. 25 dollars the bus is only 3 dollars each, you can't even get into town for that at home.
Well my friends another vodka for me, then bed, chilled bed. Joy.
Another good day tommorow, then back to the funny farm.
