Sunday saw an end to the dreadful wind, thank gosh, so after another dip in the spa and a lazy pack up we hit the road again. The road was much rougher on this side of Coward Springs and unfortunately Ben lost a beer after it jostled around too much in the fridge! We called in to William Creek hotel for a late lunch of some very decent burgers and to replace that beer! The boys fell in love with the resident pet dingo, Bert, giving him lots of pats and cuddles as he slept on his very own lounge out the front of the pub. He's the fattest dingo we've ever seen and has his own Facebook page! We left there to free camp overnight at a beautiful spot called Cadibarrawirracanna (great name!) where we were treated to a beautiful sunset. We're heading on to Coober Pedy in the morning.
