The next day we drove all the way past Sydney, a huge day in the car but the kids were perfect, just amazing. I actually think they really like travelling! We stopped in at the Ettamogah Pub which was very funny and cool. The countryside was beautiful all the way to Yass. Rolling green hills dotted with sheep and cattle and paddocks full of golden canola. We stopped in at the dog on the Tucker Box and while the boys were playing around on the lawn poor Lachie got attacked by a maggie! Not just swooped, it clawed him on the side of the head and drew blood! Poor boy got such a fright and his cuts stung terribly. Once he was all recovered I made some sangers and we got on our way again. As we passed Yass the hills browned off a bit and we came into the yucky weather, it was very cold and rainy. Ben did so well driving through the horrid rain and then on through the city, having to deal with a bully truckie and heavy traffic. We pulled up in Brooklyn at the boat ramp for the night and watched the footy.
