So the big adventure is finally here. The day started with us meeting my guide and fellow travellers at Heathrow Terminal 5 where I then said goodbye to mum before we went through to the other side. Once we had checked on our luggage and went through security I had a little look around the shops and then caught our first plane to Dallas.

The flight to Dallas was just over 9, long enough for me to watch a few films and have a couple of inflight meals.

Upon arrival in Dallas we collected and dropped off our baggage and then went through security again in order to catch our final flight to Jackson.

The view as we came into the airport was totally amazing, flying over the mountains and seeing all the snow and the rivers. Once we landed we collected our luggage and got in the minibus and took the short drive through Jackson to our hotel.

We then got our room keys and settled into our new home for a few day, my new massive room!
