This morning started with an early start and we truly ended our Yellowstone trip on a high. Welcome to Narnia So today started with a pre breakfast drive to the Elk Refuge to look for horned lark, coyote and prairie falcon. All of which we managed to tick off almost straight away. As we stopped to look out and scan our second site I spotted a bird perching on the edge of some rocks only to discover it was a prairie falcon. We were also lucky enough to see a coyote, lots of lovey little ground squirrels and lots of different birds. From here we drive to the Antelope Flats to see the Moulton Barns. Wow what a day! An early start and a little walk around Jackson on the hunt for birds for which we saw many including the American robin, a red winged blackbird and the American magpie (you really can't tell the difference). So the big adventure is finally here. The day started with us meeting my guide and fellow travellers at Heathrow Terminal 5 where I then said goodbye to mum before we went through to the other side.
