Today we got up and finished our last bits of packing and then went to check out. We stored our luggage and took the many steps down to the harbour one last time to grab some breakfast before we caught our transfer to the airport. It was a little bit chillier today and we actually had to wear our jumpers out! As usual we ate our breakfast with a view of Harbour Bridge and the big cruise liner which had docked in overnight. After breakfast we said our goodbyes to the harbour taking a couple of last minute shots and then climbed back up the steps to the hostel to collect our bags and wait for our bus. Our bus arrived and took us through Sydney and out to the airport where we checked in and headed through security. We had a little look around the shops in the airport and then entertained ourselves with a game of cards before boarding the plane and starting our mammoth journey home. The journey took us 23 hours and 55 minutes and after lots of films, food and a little bit of sleep with arrived in Heathrow after a short stop off in Singapore to refuel. Dad then met us at the airport and drove us home and back to reality!
