Hey subscribers, Well since i took so long to get the last email out i thought i would get another done quickly to make up for it. We left Venice after a great stay and a few relaxing days by the pool. We all loved our stay there and thought Venice was just beautiful. We arrived in Milan expecting it to be pretty quiet being August but still a few people around, and the girls were looking foward to doing some shopping (well window shopping i think). But we didnt expect the place to be deserted and an absolutely shanty town. We had heard Milan would be quiet during August but we werent expecting it to have windows locked with roller doors and iron gates on just about every shop. The only places open were cafes, icecream shops and Footlocker! To make it worse we arrived on a Sunday and had a whole Monday to look around, and unfortunately even the museums are closed on Mondays. We couldnt do much about it so still spent the day looking around so called Milan the shopping capital. We went out to what Jarrod tells me one of the biggest soccer grounds in Europe where AC Milan and Inter Milan play. Must admit it was quite impressive for a soccer ground but was no MCG. Even the museum there was closed! So we were kinda glad to leave and were heading to Nice!
