Finding our hostel in Finland at 10.30 in the morning feeling like death warmed up, a 15kg pack on our back and a city which we knew nothing about was definately interesting, but nothing a fead from the golden archers couldnt fix! We had some great weather in Finland and while the 3 of us didnt know what to expect of Helsinki we all agreed it was a great place. We used our 2 feet once more and got to explore a lot of a place we didnt know much about. Jade even got a chance for a date with the chef while Jarrod and i took the time to walk around the city. We managed to find the only place open on a Monday night and it even had a band. The dangerous part was it also had a blackjack table, and while we couldnt resist it was only a 2 euro hand each as that was all our back-packing budget would allow. The trip from Helsinki, to Hanko, to Rostock, to Berlin was very long. We took another ferry from Hanko to Rostock but it was nothing like our other ferry. We got to Berlin and met back up with Paul and Jenny. Paul has since headed back to Aus and Jenny is back travelling around with us. It was great to see familiar faces and Jarrod were happier than Jade about her having some female company!!! Sorry for the late update but better late than never i guess. We are currently in Krakow where everything is much cheaper so i plan to write an edition on Berlin soon. (Berlin was fantastic by the way we had such a good time, we will definately be headed back there and like i said an update is on the way!!!) Lia and Lauren - Sorry if there is mistakes tried to get this one out quick. Nana and Opa - hope all is well Jade says hello to and we will try to call soon. Sean & Jansen - Jarrod and I are looking forward to you boys coming over, although the way it sounds Jansen you'll be running around with the big boys soon. Although that doesnt mean you shouldnt come Sean. Oh and Macca i hear they are working on you too!! Muggs - Say g'day to everyone, missing having a kick and good to see the boys are going well EQT - Hope all is going well and end of year isnt too much of a nightmare. Whats the go with the footy tipping though i reckon its rigged! Everyone else - take care and keep the messages, sms's and emails coming. We really like hearing from everyone and we are pretty sure it doesnt cost more that a normal message for you to send to our phones.
