Hey subscribers, Nice has been great and we are glad we have spent 4 nights here. We spent the first afternoon lounging on the pebble beach although not the most comfortable to lay on. We ventured out to Monaco to see how the rich and famous spent their summer holidays on the French Reviera. It was quiet a view. In the harbour there was 30-40m private boats and by Hotel de Le Paris there were more Porches', BMW's, Merc's, Bently, Hummers, Ferrari's and Mazaradi's that one (or Jarrod and I) could ever imagine. Jarrod went off to the Casino while the girls and I went to the Aqurium. We had heard great things about both but were all somewhat dissapointed with what we saw. I guess we are spoilt somewhat in Australia's with great aquirums and and spectacular casinos (aka "Home"). Nevertheless it was a great day trip with some spectacular views and well worth it! We also spent an afternoon in Cannes, famous for it International Film Festival and finally a beach with sand! We didnt do much their other than enjoy the sun and surf but i guess it was a great way to spend an afternoon. Today was spent looking around Nice, even though we are staying here its probably the place we have seen the least of. We made use of the beach again and spent some serious time there but also made our way to the top of Nice to a place called Panarama. The steps were a killer but an awesome view and a great looking waterfall at the top! Tomorrow we leave for Cinque Terre to spend another few days at what is meant to be a great beach. We have had some fantastic weather and have been enjoying having the water so close. We have our next leg planned which includes, after Cinque Terre, day in Pisa, then to Florence, Rome and off to Athens and then the Greek Islands! Thats about all for now, stay tuned and hopefully i can get the next issue out just as quick. We are counting down the days to seeing our parents and Rachel (well i think im more excited than the other 3!). But we cant wait. A big g'day to everyone.
