Time to head back to Lignac. Had an argument with the GPS woman who kept wanting to send us back into Paris to head south....something we didn't want to do given our last experience of Paris morning traffic jams! Decided a bit of retail-therapy was in order so off to Val d'Europe and ????Vallee out by Disneyland. It's a huge shopping complex and "discount" outlet arrangement. After a nice lunch we started to look for bargains. Unfortunately none were to be had...all very expensive and designed for the 'high-end' bargain shopper! Oh our aching legs! Didn't get up until mid-morning. Missed breakfast, so lunch a nearby McDonalds before heading into Paris to the Eiffel Tower. Fluked a car-park close by and the ticket queue was tiny.....what luck (or so we thought). Quickly up to the second level, but the wait for the lift to the top was so long, Ian had to return to the car to top-up the meter to prevent it being towed. Sally & Tom waited another 45 minutes before getting to the very top...

Day dawned cloudless, sunny and hot...the perfect day for Parc du Disney, for Tom's birthday. Got there nice and early and a park near the entrance. Then the floodgates opened and ten thousand others arrived by bus, train and campervan! Anyway, into the queue for tickets (the first of many), before queuing to enter. Straight into the queue for the train, which we eventually boarded and took to Discoveryland. Queues not too long really so straight into Space Mou...

Weather still fine and sunny so off to Versailles today. It took us an hour to go 10 kilometres! Unfortunately, there was some big political thing on and the palace was closed! Just our luck. Never mind, had a good look from the outside, avoiding all of the hundreds of police and gendarmarie swarming everywhere.Got to get inside the Versaille Cathedral before it closed at noon though. Decided to drive into Paris and catch a few of the sights........that was fun!...
