Day 15 03/06/2013 Lake Argyle Tourist Resort. It gets light very early in this part of WA....... and being adjusted to NT time, we were awake at 5am, thinking it was 6.30am! It was a beautiful dawn......after a very warm night. I mentioned that we ditched the fleecy PJs sometime ago.....now we have ditched the doona too, in favour of a sheet! Day 14 02/06/2013 Dunmarra Roadside Inn to Lake Argyle(WA), via Katherine. We had a reasonable night. There was a bit of noise when the pub closed, and the road trains were passing through all night. This, of course, is one of the down sides to camping near the road; but sometimes it is unavoidable. As we were packing up, a Greyhound bus, headed for Darwin, pulled in to get fuel and drop off supplies. These buses are sometimes used instead of the postal service....

Day 13 01/06/2013 Alice Springs to Dunmarra Roadhouse. So........we drove over 800km today.....a little like traversing the UK from top to bottom.... although I doubt you could do that at an average speed of 100km/hr!!! We used the Stuart Highway........ this road does deserve the highway tag, since it is sealed all the way from Adelaide in the south to Darwin in the north, a distance of some 3,000 km Between Alice Springs and Katherine, where we will turn off...
